Amarellus. December 2025 – December 2026
Galeria Jordi Pascual is pleased to announce its participation in La Setmana de l’Art, a festival organized by the Catalonia Gallery Guild that will take place from November 27th to December 5th, 2025.
This edition is structured around a single guiding theme: the colour yellow, a colour that in the artistic sphere unfolds as symbol, emotion, and concept.
Starting on December 2, Galeria Jordi Pascual will present the exhibition Amarellus, a show specially organised for this edition.
Throughout the Amarellus exhibition, the colour yellow emerges as a constant yet ever-changing presence. It is not merely a colour: it is a gesture, a pulse, a way of understanding light. In the works gathered at the Galeria Jordi Pascual, yellow acts as a connecting thread that traverses languages, eras, and techniques, manifesting in multiple forms — as light, signal, atmosphere, matter, or intensity. The colour thus becomes a shared territory that opens correspondences between very different artists who are nonetheless deeply connected by the pulse of light.
The exhibition features renowned national and international artists, including Sam Francis, Joan Miró, Alexander Calder, Oswaldo Guayasamín, Antoni Clavé, Hans Hartung, José María Sicilia, Josep Guinovart, Manolo Valdés, Juan Uslé, Luis Feito, Victor Brauner, Miquel Barceló, and Óscar Domínguez.
Their yellows — vibrant, earthy, symbolic, spiritual, material, and gestural — become a true space for reflection for the visitor, a space where the viewer is invited to discover how a single colour can unfold into multiple registers: from solar intensity to melancholic light, from celebration to wound. Yellow not only illuminates the works, but also transforms the way we look at them.
